How to Be a Good Ally​

• Use inclusive language: Use gender-neutral terms like partner, spouse.

• Use of pronouns:
  "Hi, my name is Jane and my pronouns are she/her."

• Be a visible ally: display a rainbow sticker or ally postcard in your office.

• Bring it up:  evaluate your office: how inclusive are you?

• Show up: Attend events, volunteer, donate and speak up.

 

Create a Gender-Inclusive Workplace:

• Promote non-discrimination policies.

• Update language on forms and documents.

• Advocate for a gender-inclusive dress code.

• Model gender-inclusive language.
