Meet Our Team!
Laura Biancone (she/her) - Interim Executive Director
Hi, I’m Laura! I’m the Interim Executive Director of the LGBT Center of Greater Reading and a fierce advocate for the marginalized. I am passionate in my unwavering commitment to drive positive change, help all feel included and accepted, and champion the rights and dignity of all individuals. I’m the proud mom of an LGBT child and reside in Berks County with my family and dog, Milo. I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by such an exceptional group of people here at the Center.
Susan Fetzer (she/her) - Sexual Assault Navigator
Hi, I’m Susan (sometimes I spell it “Suzan”)! I’m a filmmaker and Sexual Assault Navigator here at the LGBT Center. Working here gives me the opportunity to implement creativity into my work. I facilitate a Film Club, Movie Night, and support group for survivors of sexual assault. My fiancé and I have lived in West Reading for three years with our three cats, and I value the relationships and experiences I’ve gained through the Center.
Jox Brown (he/him) - Volunteer & Event Coordinator
Howdy, my name is Jox! My pronouns are He/Him and I'm the Volunteer and Event Coordinator here at the center. I'm an illustrator, lover of storytelling, and am unhealthily obsessed with Cryptids and D&D (If anyone has the Mothman's number, hit me up.). I came to the center because as a Trans man myself, I want to support the community that showed me love and compassion when I was discovering myself. When I'm not here at the Center, I'm at home drawing with my lovely fiancé and our two cats.
Angelee Vega (she/her) - Bookkeeper
Hi! I’m Angelee Vega, and I’ve called Reading, PA, my home for as long as I can remember. I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, especially in combining my passion for numbers with strategic thinking. I’m proud to work at the LGBT Center. This organization has been more than just a job for me; it’s become like a family. They welcomed me with open arms while I was still in school, and I’ve learned so much about the commitment they have to our community. Their dedication inspires me every day, and I’m grateful to be part of such impactful work.
